Week 8

This week we are both working on the midterm report. We organized our process into the midterm report. Each design has its own reason and support.

We also did two more user testing on SFU students who are from couple-families. We got good feedback on our visual, interaction, data visualization, narrative. We also received some advice. Student K thought the transition animation between the plots is not smooth and suggested us work more on it. Student M thought the duration of transition animations is long and the animation types are the same (M thought it is a little bit boring but it is okay...).

We plan to refine the animation, do more prototypes (especially try more data visualization style), and keep doing more user-testing. We also plan to visit Lyn (the professor of IAT355) to have some feedback on our data visualization.
